Statement of Purpose: Dear Colleague, The Metabolic Bone Disease Society of Colorado is a non-profit educational organization created to provide medical education for physicians and allied health care professionals interested in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases. This annual symposium stands as the premier conference on osteoporosis in the Rocky Mountain region. Primary care physicians and other health care professionals in internal medicine and family practice will be joined by specialists in endocrinology, gynecology, nephrology, orthopedics, and rheumatology for interactive discussions with world leaders in the field of osteoporosis. The session will conclude with selected case studies on metabolic bone patient management issues to challenge the faculty presenters. I look forward to welcoming you to this course.
