Have You Met?

For years, Sherri Huseby worked in public relations for the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen. She has successfully parlayed that experience into many volunteer opportunities with various charities in the Denver area.

With her slim, athletic figure and cover-girl looks, Sherri is frequently asked to donate her time as a runway model in benefit fashion shows.

Her career with Arthur Andersen brought her to Denver, and that is where she met her husband, Mike. Together they have two sons.

Interests: Physical fitness. Sherri is chairing the “Fitness Festival” for the Cherry Creek School System. She is also involved with the Volunteers of America, Families First and Art Reach.

Who is your hero? Why? My husband. He is one of the most honest, do-right persons I’ve ever met. He always sees the bright side.

What was your first job? Dipping ice cream at an ice cream shop

What would you do if you were king of the world? Promote peace

If there were one thing you would change about yourself, what would it be? Be on time more often

Best gift you ever gave? I took my kids to Disney World for their second birthdays

If you could be something other than what you are, what would you be? A singer and performer

What is a favorite childhood memory? Family trips across country from Florida to Chicago

Who is the most interesting celebrity you ever met? The country music singer Toby Keith. He performed at an event and I danced on stage with him. At one point, he took off his cowboy hat and let me wear it while we all danced.

What makes you laugh? My kids

What is your favorite item of clothing in your closet? My Levi’s

What is the best advice your Mom/Dad ever gave you? Don’t ever give up.
